"I would love to come to the reunion but I cannot this year. My husband is unable to travel nor can he manage to stay home alone.
I am still in perfect health and take care of a large garden, both vegetable and flowers. I can and freeze most of our produce for winter consumption. I am active in an exercise program and serve as a gardening resource person for my community.
I would love to see everyone. I know you will have lots of fun. I graduated in 1943."
Be thinking of you........... Mabel Arnold Broussard

Linda (Poe) Emfinger says "wanted to tell you again how much I appreciate you and all the great work you do to keep us all in touch and know what is going on in ourfriends lives. The older I get, the more important it is to know about my friends and be able to pray for them and their families. There can never be too many prayers!!!
Keep up the good work!!!!" Linda

They found the large artery in front of the heart completely blocked. They put 3 stints in and she will be in CICU 24 to 48 hours. Gorden says she may be able to go home on Monday. If all stays well, Gorden will go back down early next week to relieve her daughter and Reba will relieve Gorden so someone will be with her for the first week or longer if needed.
She lost her husband 2 weeks ago, so she has been through it the last four months. J.K. was sick about 4 months.
Please remember her and the rest of her family in your prayers.
